Having been involved in planning since starting on a YTS programme within an LPA in the 1990s, Robin has seen considerable technical change in the industry. From scrolling through microfilm, plotting sheets, Pendleton, PARSOL and now Cloud computing, his knowledge is based on hands-on experience having implemented solutions throughout the UK including London Boroughs, Unitary and District Authorities and even Jersey and Guernsey. He is able to speak with credibility with regards to change and process.
Joining Arcus in 2015, Robin has driven a number of transformation projects within the market and has a focus on understanding the importance of 'difference'. Whether it be the development of a solution for the Greater London Authority’s mayoral referrals, management of consultation responses for Sport England or dealing with Planning Applications at South Derbyshire District Council, his ability to address the needs of the user is key to successful transformation projects at Arcus.
